Enriching Wellington each year, is the Chinese New Year festival

Going from strength to strength the Chinese New Year Festival highlights new and old views of Chinese culture. It includes children, older people and the many New Zealanders (of many ethnicities) that have lived and worked in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and with other Chinese communities around the world.

Wellington has so much more life and colour, because three parents wanted their New Zealand-born children to grow up proud of their Chinese heritage.
